Interwar Culture is comprised of substantial periodical collections held at the British Library, New York Public Library, Future PLC and supplemented by additional titles from the Newberry Library in Chicago, Liverpool John Moore's University and the State Library of New South Wales.

The British Library

The British Library is the largest in the Britain, holding over 150 million items, in most known languages. The Library receives a copy of every publication produced in the UK and Ireland. The collection includes manuscripts, newspapers, drawings, maps, prints, music scores, patents and various ephemeral items, such as 8 million stamps.

The Newberry Library was founded in 1887 as the result of a contingent provision in Chicago businessman Walter L. Newberry's will. The Newberry's collection includes 1.6 million books, 600,000 maps and 5 million manuscript pages, covering six centuries of human history.

State Library of New South Wales

The State Library of New South Wales is a leading global library, with a history dating back to 1826. The State Library's collection contains over 5 million items including more than 2 million books, 1.2 million microforms, 1.1 million photographs, as well as newspapers, maps, architectural plans, manuscripts and other items. The Library’s collection has a reputation as the most valuable library collection in Australia and among the most valuable in the world.
